Your idea can change the world

The big societal challenges we are facing need new, sustainable and innovative solutions. We know that the students and the researchers at Linköping University have a lot to contribute to this – and we want to help you go from idea to impact. There is a great  demand for sustainable solutions, thus creating new business opportunities. The world needs your ideas. With support from LiU Innovation you can start making a difference faster.

LiU Changemakers

LiU Changemakers is a program that is created in collaboration with Civil Right Defenders that enables students at LiU to work with human rights defenders. During the four-month long program, you will develop ideas that can make the human rights defenders work situation safer and more efficient.

You should apply to LiU Changemakers if you want to work with ideas that improve the conditions for human rights defenders. You do not need to have your own idea or previous experience of entrepreneurship. Together with other driven students, you will work to solve concrete needs. After the program has ended, you have the opportunity to continue working with the ideas on your own.

LiU Impact Factory

Our program for accelerating sustainable innovation initiatives is called LiU Impact Factory. It is an eight-month long program where you work with an idea that you wholeheartedly want to commit to.

You should apply to LiU Impact Factory if you are part of a team with an idea that focuses on societal improvements. The idea should have a clear connection to any of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. During the course of the program our demands on you will be high, and in exchange you will receive a support that makes you ready to take your idea further and create real impact.

Globala målen

In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 goals for a better world by 2030. These goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality and stop climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone.
